Savatar - Pumptrack Bike

Background:
Pumptracks have been increasing massively in popularity over the last 5 years. Authorities all over the world have started building new pumptracks in place of skateparks and now sports competition organisations are boosting the popularity of this new sport even higher. With Mafiabikes experience and foothold in the BMX world combined with the plan to launch a new higher end bike brand this was a fantastic opportunity to add ammunition to the new Amity brand set to launch in summer 2022.
Project Scope:
1 Model, 1 size, 2 colourways.
In-house design: Frame and fork only including Fork Tubing, Front dropouts and Steerer tube.
The bike shown above is the latest prototype. All design work is now complete and pre production samples will arrive in the UK in July 2022.
This bike will be on sale from April 2023

The biggest innovation on this project was in developing a rigid aluminium fork. This material and construction has seen a lot of success and popularity on road bikes but they have never been used for an offroad 26 inch race bike.
The closest comparison is a BMX race fork however even they are rarely aluminium and are subject to far less abuse.

Extensive testing was needed to validate this design and even resulted in tooling our own butted hydroformed tubes.
