Beach Cruiseres

Background:

Beach cruisers have been around for a long time but even today it is difficult to find one that really looks great at a reasonable price. Many fans of this bike style take to building their own but their is a fresh wave of demand for these bikes in America and now in the UK for use as "Pub bikes".

Good looking bikes offering great value for money are what Stomp do best and so a proposal was put forward to develop our own range of Beach cruisers in time to go on sale for the 2023 summer season in America and the UK.

 

Project Scope:

6 Models, 1 size each, 2 colourways each. 

In-house design: Frame and fork including Headtube, Dropouts and Steerer tube. Handlebars

Stomp Distribution will be launching a new brand in 2023 to sell these bikes under. "Weekend" aka WKND

(Above) Pre production samples ready for inspection in May 2022. These bikes will receive long term testing over the next 6 months prior to the order being placed in October 2022

The development budget for this project was not enough to pay for new tube tooling. Tests were therefore needed to find open tool tubes that would be up to the task structurally and aesthetically
